Do You Read Me??

Patrick, sweetheart that he is, got me a cute and appropriate present just for fun. He got me a copy of Blame it on the Dog: A Modern History of the Fart by Jim Dawson, author of Who Cut the Cheese?

I've read the Introduction and the first chapter, and it is GREAT!!! I'll admit it, I'm not the classiest lady out there. I'm full of gas, and lots of it. I'm just glad that Patrick knew that before he married me, so at least it isn't a big unpleasant surprise. It's still unpleasant, but not so much of a surprise. Unless I sneak one on him when we're in bed snuggling before sleep. :) I'll blame my crassness on having 3 older brothers and gassy parents...yes, even you, Mom. :D

I'm also reading Atonement by Ian McEwan. Loved the movie, so I figured I would read the book too.

Patrick got a couple new books at Barnes & Noble...

Brother Odd by Dean Koontz, which he's already halfway through,



and Treasure of Khan by Clive Cussler and Dirk Cussler.


I've read The Face by Dean Koontz, and it was a really interesting book. I don't recall a single point where I was bored with the text...it sucked me in, and even though I took awhile to read it, I was hooked. Excellent book.

Anyway, that's what we are reading right now. I love being married to a guy who likes to read and discuss what we're reading. We're keeping our minds sharp. :)
